Dear MECC Families, As an administrative team, we have been collaborating the past few days on how to disseminate information to you in order to keep your child engaged and avoid any regression in skills. In addition, the MECC faculty and staff have been sharing grade level resources with me, which we will share with you. All this information will go out via email by the end of the week and will be posted on our district webpage.
Your child's teacher will also be reaching out next week, if they haven't already. We are treating this week as if it was a week off based on weather, which will be made up at the end of the school year. The last day of school has not been determined yet.
Everything we will be sharing is all optional as we know there are additional hardships on families with people working from home, not working at all, and/or taking care of your children. However, we feel it is important to share resources to help you keep your child engaged in various activities, if you so choose.
Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions or if you need assistance.
I so miss having the halls of MECC filled with skipping feet, giggles, learning, hugs and high fives. Please tell your child I said hello. I wish you all well.
