  • Free Meals for all MPS Students

    The Middleborough Public Schools will provide free meals for ALL of our students during school days until December 31, 2020. This will help ensure that all of our children have access to nutritious food as the country recovers from the COVID-19 pandemic.

  • 2020-2021 District School Calendar

    The Middleborough Public Schools School Committee has approved this academic calendar for the 2020-2021 school year. The start dates for K and Pre-K will be confirmed in the next week. This is the calendar as of August 20, 2020.

  • District Reopening Plan for September 2020

    Our plan contains three models for learning which includes a full in-person model for our highest priority students, a hybrid model where students will be divided into two cohorts who’ll be both in school and out of school and, finally, a fully remote “Online Learning Academy” model for those families who choose that as an option. In response to that, we would like to announce our new “Parent & Guardian Help Center” to assist you with the extended learning of your child.   • Per Gov. Baker Middleborough Public Schools will not reopen for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year

    Governor Baker announces that schools in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts will not reopen for the remainder of this school year. For the Middleborough Public Schools, this will involve extending our virtual learning for students through June 18, 2020 which will be the last scheduled day of school for the 2019-20 school year.

    Under the Families First Coronavirus Response Act ("FFCRA"), a governmental employer is required to provide Emergency Paid Sick Leave ("EPSL") and to provide leave based on a new qualified reason for Family and Medical Leave for the care of children when school or day care closes or is unavailable ("EFML"). FFCRA requirements are in place from April 1, 2020 to December 31, 2020.

  • New Student Registration

    At this time all Kindergarten registration appointments are on hold. At this time all screenings will also be rescheduled. If you have the ability to scan the complete set of documents required please email them to Katie Goodine at registrar@middleboro.k12.ma.us. Again in order for the scanned documents to be accepted all required documents must be present. A complete list of those documents can be found on the Student Registration Page. Original Birth certificates will be verified at a later date but a scanned copy will be acceptable at this time. We will be hosting a virtual parent orientation meeting, date of release will be early in early May.
