Our Schools: Students attend one of our 5 schools based on neighborhood areas. MPS is home to 1 Early Childhood Center (PK-K), 2 elementary schools (Grade 1-5), 1 middle school(Grade 6-8), and 1 high school (Grade 9-12). Thanks to our strong community support, the state of the art Middleborough High School was recently completed in 2021.

Support for New Educators: MPS offers a number of supports for new educators including a mentoring program, orientation and training, professional development opportunities, and an Educator Evaluation system designed to encourage and support professional growth.

Students and Families: Middleborough's students reflect a wide variety of cultural and ethnic backgrounds. MPS student demographics include: 1.3% Asian; 4.4% African American/Black; 4.8 % Hispanic; 82.6% White; 6.1%; multi-race non-Hispanic; >1% Native American or Pacific Islander. Economically disadvantaged students make up 40.7% while 3.4% are English learners and 19.4% are students with disabilities. Accessibility: The MBTA has a commuter rail stop on the Middleborough/Lakeville Line. Which in 2025 will be moved to its new home in Middleborough a short walk from downtown.
