Department of Special Education

The Middleborough Public Schools Special Education Department is dedicated to supporting the diverse learning needs of all students. We are committed to providing a free and appropriate public education in the least restrictive environment, in accordance with state and federal special education laws and regulations.

Our team works collaboratively with families, educators, and related service providers to design individualized programs that support student growth, independence, and success. Through the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), we ensure that each student receives the services, accommodations, and supports necessary to access the curriculum and reach their full potential.

Special education services in Middleborough Public Schools are designed to be inclusive, student-centered, and strengths-based. We believe that every student can learn and thrive when provided with the appropriate supports and opportunities.
