About the Department
The Middleborough Public Schools Curriculum & Instruction Office is committed to providing every student with a high-quality educational experience that promotes academic excellence, critical thinking, and lifelong learning. Working in partnership with school leaders and educators, the office supports the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of curriculum, instruction, and assessment across all grade levels.
Our district's Curriculum Coordinators work closely with teachers and administrators to ensure that classroom instruction is engaging, rigorous, and aligned with the needs of all learners. They provide instructional leadership, support curriculum development, coordinate professional learning opportunities, and help implement best practices that foster student success.
All curriculum in Middleborough Public Schools is aligned with the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) Curriculum Frameworks, ensuring that students receive instruction that meets the state's academic standards and prepares them for college, careers, and civic life.

Meet the Team
Kelly Stukenborg, STEM Coordinator, PreK-12
Ms. Stukenborg holds a B.S. in Biology from St Michael’s College and a M.A.T. in Biology and Education from Northeastern University. She served as the Assistant Principal at Hanover High School for the past four years. She has also served in various educational positions and settings, including serving as a high school science teacher in both Brockton and Quincy, science department head at North Quincy High School, Dean, Associate Principal, and Assistant Curriculum Director of Science at Weymouth Public Schools. She is the mother of two grown children, an avid soccer player and a lifelong learner.
Lori LeBlanc, Humanities Coordinator, PreK-12
Ms. LeBlanc holds a B.S. from Bridgewater State University with dual majors in Elementary Education and Fine Arts, and Master's Degree from American International College in Reading. She is licensed as a Reading Specialist and has a Certificate from Lesley University as a Certified Literacy Coach. She has been a classroom teacher, a literacy coach, and an instructional coach serving Middleborough Public Schools for 17 years. Ms. LeBlanc has two children, and enjoys reading, painting, and coaching ice hockey.
