March and April Music News
Hip hip hooray! Spring is on its way! Let's clear away the winter blues
with lots of sunny songs about spring . Students will begin the season
with songs about leprachauns and rainbows. Together we will create a
rainbow dance with colored scarves and practice dancing an Irish jig.
Also, students will love singing about baseball, kites, frogs, ducks and
all kinds of springy fun.
As we begin April, we will start learning songs for our end of the
yearperformances of Friendly Neighborhood Helpers. This show will be
our final project of the year. Check our school calendar soon for show
dates in June.

Take Me Out to the Ball Game
Author: Jack Norworth

Take me out to the ball game,
Take me out with the crowd.
Buy me some peanuts and cracker jack,
I don't care if I never get back,
Let me root, root, root for the home team,
If they don't win it's a shame.
For it's one, two, three strikes, you're out,
At the old ball game.

Let's Go Fly A Kite
From Mary Poppins
Oh, oh, oh!
Let's go fly a kite
Up to the highest height!
Let's go fly a kite and send it soaring
Up through the atmosphere
Up where the air is clear
Oh, let's go fly a kite!
