• Homework in Room 17 

    MATH

    Each night the students have EnVision Math homework from the lesson we did that day. Students are encouraged to log-in to the EnVision Math website to watch the video for that specific lesson for reinforcement.

    READING

    Each night the students are expected to read a book from their book bag and record it on their reading log. Parents should sign the reading log before returning it to school on Friday. 

    Students are also encouraged to read other books from their home library or RAZ-KIDS.  RAZ-KIDS is an electronic library program that is available to MKG students on the MKG Computer Lab webpage.  Students are able to access RAZ-KIDS on a home computer, a laptop, a tablet, or a handheld device. 
     
    FUNDATIONS - PHONICS

    FUNdations Unit trick word lists are sent home monthly as we begin a new unit. Students are to practice reading and spelling the words from the list to reinforce the phonics skill that we are learning that month.
