    Mr. Scott "Nellie" Nelson

    Letter from Mr. Brian Lynch

As our community collectively mourns the loss of longtime coach, educator, and friend, Scott Nelson, it is important that we share a list of supports that are available to you in this time of need.

For all Middleborough Public Schools faculty, staff, and current students and recent graduates of Middleborough High School: Tomorrow, Wednesday, July 19, 2017, the doors of Middleborough High School will be open from 9am-2pm to any current MPS staff member, MHS student, or recent graduate of Middleborough High School.  Counselors will be on hand to provide counseling services for staff or students who would like to come together to celebrate the life and legacy of Mr. Nelson.

For all employees of the Town of Middleborough: The Town of Middleborough has contracted with Total Care EAP as its Employee Assistance Program.  Please visit www.theEAP.com or call 1-800-225-2527 or 1-800-252-4555 if you have counseling needs.  Total Care EAP is available 24/7.

For all residents of Middleborough or parent(s) of a child who attends a Middleborough Public School: The INTERFACE Helpline is a free referral service that connects you with counseling services that best suit your individual needs.  Call 1-888-244-6843 to access this free and confidential referral service.  The INTERFACE Helpline is available Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the extended Nelson family in this time of loss.

Please do not hesitate to reach out to Paul Branagan, Dani Jameson, Andy Dizel, or Josh Porter with any additional needs.
