  •  Student Advisory Council ~ 2017-2018
    If you are interested in being considered to represent MHS on the Student Advisory Council, nomination papers are available from the main office this week.  Nominations will close on Friday, March 31, 2017.  Please see Mr. Branagan with any questions.

  • Class of 2017 ~ Scholarship Booklet
    The 2017 Middleborough High School Scholarship Booklet was launched on the Middleborough High School Website on Friday, March 3, 2017. The seniors will attend a special advisory on Thursday morning to review the scholarship application process. Please be sure to read the Scholarship Booklet carefully as the directions for many of the scholarships have very strict rules and expectations. All scholarships, unless otherwise noted are due no later than April 11, 2017.

  • College Planning Night ~ Class of 2018 ~ March 29
    The first of two-part workshop for the Class of 2018 and their families are invited to a very special event to focus on the beginning of the college planning process.  The areas of focus during Part I of the workshop will be:

    • Matching Self and School
    • The College Search
    • The Admissions Process
    • The Interview and the Visit
    • The Application and the Essay

    The event will take place in the MHS Auditorium at 6:00pm.

  • Mid-Semester Exams are Coming!
    The Mid-Semester Examinations are quickly approaching. Exams will be held on Tuesday, April 4 (Full Day) and Wednesday, April 5 (Half Day) for all students.  Start organizing your notes and materials to begin the important preparation work for these very important exams.

  • Attention Seniors ~ Scholarship Deadline is Coming ~ April 11, 2017
    Attention all students in the Class of 2017!  Please be reminded that the Scholarship deadline for submission for eligibility for the many scholarships being offered to the Class of 2017 are due NO LATER than Tuesday, April 11, 2017 by 4:00pm.  No applications will be accepted after this deadline.  Please plan accordingly.  Please see your guidance counselor with any questions.

    The 2017 Middleborough Scholarship Season is here! Please check out this year's scholarship booklet for financial opportunities to support your post-secondary education. All scholarships are due no later than April 11, 2017, unless specifically noted in the scholarship booklet. Please see your guidance counselor with any questions.

  • StartSTRONG Program ~ Class of 2021

    • Applications to be an Orientation Leader for the StartSTRONG Program are now available in the main office.  All students in Grade 9 – 11 are eligible to apply!  The Orientation Leaders who are selected will have the important take of welcoming the Class of 2021 to MHS!  Do not miss out on a great opportunity!  The deadline to apply is Friday, March 31, 2017!!

Sachem Shout-Out:
  • Thank you to the Speech and Theatre Workshop for their performance of their competition piece to a full audience on Friday evening.  “Crossroads” was truly incredible.  Also, a special note of thanks to Olivia Bulu for her incredible work in capturing the “spirit” of Festival.  The video was amazing.
  • Congratulations to Michaela Bird for being recognized at the National Level in the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards.  Michaela received the Silver Key for her drawing, which places her in the top 1% more of the 300,000 entries from across the country.  Well done, Michaela!
  • Thank you to the members of the Principal’s Roundtable for an insightful and engaging meeting on Friday.  Your input to making our school even better is greatly appreciated.
  • Best of luck to the many athletes who will begin their spring season on Monday!  We look forward to the many successes that lie ahead for all of our teams.  Sachem Pride!
  • Thank you to the close to 50 AP Science Students who participated in their respective AP Mock Exams on Saturday.  From all accounts, you worked hard on your exams!  Thank you for your commitment to your academics!
