Music Performances: Tri-County Choral Festival |
Sachem Singers - This is a group of singers who sing mostly popular music, perform for the community, and receive credit toward graduation for doing so. This is for boys and girls from all grade levels. There is no audition for entrance. Concert Choir - This is a special chorus for those who are really interested in doing a lot of extra work such as singing in the community. It is for boys and girls in grades 10-12 and is open only to those who pass a successful audition with Mrs. Iampietro. Every year they travel around Middleborough singing for nursing homes, schools and special groups. This is for those who are interested in precision ensemble singing, opportunities for solos, and who like acting. Band - A great organization for anyone who plays a wind, brass, or percussion instrument. They play at football games, parades, concerts, and at music festivals. This is a very rewarding experience for anyone in grades 9-12. Jazz Band - Taken from the best and most interested students in the music department. This great band practices on Monday evenings and performs in concerts and at music festivals. Orchestra - A fun group of players in all grades who enjoy playing stringed instruments together. They meet during school and get five credits for playing. Some of their concerts are held for Senior Citizens and groups who don't get to hear much music or see young people very often. Sometimes they meet with members of the band and make a full symphony orchestra. Don't miss this great opportunity if you play a stringed instrument. Majorettes - Baton twirling activities are offered at Middleborough High. This involves a tryout to become part of the regular squad classes and performances at all home football games. |

Cheer them along the way
Onward to victory

Shout 'til the echoes ring,
For the glory of our team.
